Lose Weight and Dump Belly Fat by Following One Easy Rule

Give up beverages oher than water and stay healthy and fit.

Give up beverages other than water and stay healthy and fit.

One of the simplest ways to lose weight and reduce belly fat is to eliminate all drinks from your diet except for water.

This includes milk, soda, fruit juice, diet drinks, flavored waters, tea, coffee, sports drinks, and especially alcoholic beverages. Choose to consume your calories through food only and you will see a dramatic change in your body. Most people don’t realize how many calories they consume through beverages or the impact diet drinks and alcohol have on metabolism.

If you drink anything with sugar (or fructose, natural sugar) in it – even fruit juices – you will really mess with your blood sugar and energy levels. Sugar and fructose not only contain calories, they also spike your energy and then send you quickly “crashing” and getting hungry sooner than you should, causing you to eat more.  If you find yourself getting tired and/or hungry within 1-3 hours after eating lunch, you should check your sugar intake.

Studies show that beverages containing fake sugar such as Splenda, NutraSweet and Sweet-n-low are more likely to make you GAIN weight than lose. The rationale for this is twofold: most of these drinks contain high volumes of sodium which will cause you to retain water, the second reason is that though your tongue may be tricked into thinking it’s tasting sugar, your body knows it did not. Therefore, your body gets annoyed at this cheap trick and causes you to crave sweets even more causing a wicked cycle of sugar cravings.
Drink almond milk - especially if you have allergies to soy or lactose.

Almond milk - drink it, especially if you are lactose intolerant or allergic to soy.

Animal milk works against your efforts to lose weight because it contains the hormones babies so desperately need to grow. Humans are the only species that drink after infancy. Isn’t it a wonder that 40% of people are lactose intolerant? It’s our bodies way of telling us, “Stop consuming milk already!” Of course, if you really need milk for your morning cereal, than use soy milk, hemp milk or almond milk without added sugar.

Alcohol is The Devil when it comes to losing weight (especially belly fat for beer drinkers) for more reasons than just caloric content. Alcohol in all forms slows the metabolism. As you age, metabolism slows anyway. Adding alcohol will just make matters worse. So, put the beer back in the fridge and grab a bottle of water instead to help get your metabolism back on track.

Water contains no calories, no sugar, no hormones and helps flush your system of impurities. It will not make you want to eat more. In fact, it will help curb hunger pangs as they are often really signs that you are thirsty rather than hungry.

Try drinking nothing but water for just seven days and feel and see the difference it will make.
